ILAROPOLY 2016/2017 Newly Accredited Courses Admission Form

This is to inform the general public particularly the prospective students who wrote 2016/2017 UTME and seeking admissions into various programmes at the Federal Polytechnic, Haro, but

cannot be admitted due to current JAMB admission policy that they may be considered for any of the underlisted programmes:

  • Transportation Planning and Management
  • Mass Communication
  • Art and Design.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates seeking Full time admissions into any of the three newly accredited programmes mentioned above must:
  • have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as First or Second choice and had written 2016 UTME:
  • have scored 180 and above in JAMB
  • have done Federal Polytechnic Ilaro online result verification/screening exercise
  • meet the entry SSCE O/L requirements
  • meet JAMB subject combination for the programme.
However, candidates seeking Full time admissions into any of the three newly accredited programmes mentioned above and wrote 2016/2017 UTME but did not choose Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, any of their choices may also be considered too.
Such candidates must:
  • have written 2016 UTME:
  • have scored 180 and above in JAMB
  • meet the entry SSCE O/L requirements for the programme applied for.
  • meet JAMB subject combination for the programme.
  • do Federal Polytechnic Ilaro online result verification/screening exercise.
NOTE: Interested candidates in any of the above mentioned programmes who have met the set conditions above but have not done the Polytechnic online result verification / screening exercise can do so now.

Mathematics, Physics and one of Chemistry, Economics and Biology

Five G. C. E. “0” Level or WASC or SSCE/NECO or NABTEB with at least a credit pass in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) from: History, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry Basic Electricity Geography, Typewriting, Commerce/Principles of Accounting
Any three subjects from : Arts/ Social Science / Physical Science.

English Language, Fine Art, Mathematics and any two of the following: History/Government Chemistry/Physical Science,
Biology/Agricultural Science, Literature in English, Clothing and Textiles, Religious Knowledge, Economics/Commerce Geography, Home Economics
Fine Art and any two of History, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and a Nigeria Language.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUEST
All requests must get to the admissions Office on or before Monday 7thNovember, 2016
