JAMB Redesigns Their Website/Portal For 2017/2018 UTME Registration

The exam board JAMB made some changes on the layout of the registration portal For UTME Registration 2017/2018. 
Joint Admission And Matriculation Examination Board, JAMB  in its readiness to improve the best and convenience of its  previous and upcoming candidates better have redesigned their website in different categories based on the public satisfaction though the registration is not yet out, now the question is when will JAMB UTME Registration Form commence. The answer is soonest probably in the midst of November.  If you are among those who wish to register for JAMB 2017, This is a must read.

In the website as shown above are categorized into different sections based on the need of applicants. The first Section is UTME Registration and Direct Entry which are not available for the mean time, Thirdly is JAMB Printing of Result Slip which will show the result and picture, sometimes needed in tertiary institution when you are doing admission screening. It is important and it costs about #1,000 to generate pin in order to print it out.

INSTRUCTIONS: PRINTING OF RESULT SLIP

Contents

1. You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.
2. Subsequently, you shall use your email address and Password to Sign In
3. Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
4. Select “Print Result Slip”. This is available on the side bar or on the Home page.
5. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
6. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in bold in red. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
7. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank and Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
8. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
9. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.
10. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following: a. Year of Exam and b. JAMB Registration Number
After entering the information correctly, you can now print the Result Slip as shown on screen.
Fourth in line is Admission Letter Printing which is very important and necessary even before and after school, first once you have been given admission into any school of your choice,you are advised to  check your admission status in JAMB Website to see whether school have sent your name to JAMB, sometimes when school have given you admission may be they are undergoing server problem due to much candidate checking their names at once. you may not know that you having been given admission, move forward to JAMB Website to check your admission status online.

INSTRUCTION: ADMISSION LETTER PRINTING

Next is Correction of Data in case you encountered an error during registration which include the following
Course/Institution
This allows for candidates to request for change of course or Institution
Names
This allows candidates to request for amendment of names e.g. Surname, Firstname or Lastname
Date of Birth
Candidates can request for amendment of Date of birth. Supporting documents may be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval.
Gender
Candidates can request for change of Gender. Supporting documents may be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval.
State/LGA of Origin
Candidates can request for amendment of State/Local government. Supporting documents may be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval.

Furthermore,  Candidates can change the institution/course of study initially offered to a new institution/course now offered. A new Admission letter can be printed after processing. This is a new development added by JAMB is that you can change your admission letter which will cost you the sum of #10,000.

Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.

4. Select “Late (Retroactive) Application”. This is available on the side bar
5. Once selected, the menu item “Application for Admission Letter” will be revealed. Click this.
6. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
7. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in bold in red. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.

16. Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office.
17. Once received, the Approved form will be uploaded into your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done.
18. JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.
Another important feature is Checking of  Admission status
This allows candidates to check admission status. This is necessary before going ahead to make payment for Admission Letter Printing Payment is NOT required for this server. Its free of charge.
Finally, The last but not the list is Late Application which allows candidates with admission but with no prior record with JAMB ability to register on the platform.
