The University of Trieste Scholarships program encourages students to become better prepared by investigating scientific themes developed by research groups within the departments and research institutions directly involved in the program, as well as international collaborations with qualified foreign institutes that allow students to take part in training programs abroad.
The Master of Advanced Studies in Medical Physics (MMP) is a two-year advanced training program offered in collaboration with ICTP. The program provides postgraduate theoretical and clinical training to young, promising graduates of physics or related subjects (mostly from developing nations) so that they can be recognized as clinical medical physicists in their native countries.

- Applicants must have completed their undergraduate & Master’s degree program
- Applicants must have good academic records
- Applicants must be citizens of developing Countries
Value of Award
A few partial or full scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates from developing countries. ICTP will also cover, based on a detailed request, travel costs and course fees for a few successful candidates from developing countries who are not awarded the full or partial scholarship.
