University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) cordially extends an invitation to eligible candidates to participate in its Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry screening exercises for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Time Frame for Post UTME Screening

Candidates who have appeared for the 2023/2024 UTME and have opted for the University of Abuja as their institution of first preference are invited to partake in the Post UTME Screening process scheduled between Monday, 11th September 2023 and Friday, 13th October 2023, conducted online.

UNIABUJA Post UTME and Direct Entry Eligibility Criteria

In order to be deemed eligible, candidates should fulfil the following conditions:

  • Hold relevant O’ Level qualifications obtained in no more than two sittings.
  • Have secured a minimum score of 180 in the 2023/2024 UTME.
  • Have either selected the University of Abuja as their primary choice of institution during the UTME registration or switched to it thereafter.
  • For Direct Entry applicants, uploading of both O’ Level and Higher Level qualifications onto the University’s portal is mandatory, along with attendance at the screening exercise.

Step-by-Step Guide on How to Apply for UNIABUJA Post UTME

Processing Fee and Payment Method

Candidates that meet the eligibility criteria are required to remit a non-refundable processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only). This fee is to be paid via the Remita Platform, accessible through the official University of Abuja Post-UTME Screening Portal.

Detailed Application Procedure

  1. Navigate to UNIABUJA’s Official Portal https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng/ and select “Click here to apply.”
  2. Proceed by clicking the link designated for Undergraduate applications.
  3. Input your JAMB Registration Number and select “Get details.”
  4. Complete the basic information page, ensuring the phone number and email address provided are both valid. Proceed by clicking “Next.”
  5. At the payment review stage, click “Generate RRR,” redirecting you to another page.
  6. Finalise by clicking “Submit,” which will guide you to the Remita payment page.
  7. Input your ATM card details (Mastercard or Visa) and proceed with the payment.
  8. An OTP code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter this to complete the payment process.
  9. Upon successful payment, return to the main login page on the portal. Input your JAMB registration number and surname to gain access.
  10. Once logged in, proceed to “Application form” to finalize your registration.
  11. Print out the completed registration form, payment receipt, and exam schedule for your records.

Important Notes

  • If payment is unsuccessful due to network issues, you have the option to requery your payment attempt. Use your JAMB registration number to retrieve your details and proceed as directed.
  • It is imperative for all candidates to upload their O’ Level results on the JAMB Portal.
