The selected Fellow will foster interdisciplinary collaboration across the institute and forge relationships with external communities and organizations. In addition to teaching responsibilities in the Fine Arts Department, the selected fellow will develop programming and/or workshops connecting their practice to both internal and surrounding public. This year, established artists who are active in cross-disciplinary, collaborative, socially engaged practices that seek to address environmental justice and climate crisis are encouraged to apply. They welcome applications from a diversity of practices.

The specific roles and responsibilities of the selected Fellow will be developed in collaboration with the department to best ensure that the selected Fellow is successful in bringing their own vision, expertise, and experience to this fellowship position.

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have an MFA or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Successful applicants will be an established artist with a considerable record of active practice in their area of expertise.
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred but not required.
