Eligibility for Admission

Applicants must have sat for and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 2023/2024 and met the minimum UTME cut-off points for the chosen programme. Candidates who did not initially choose the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic may also apply; however, they must perform a change of choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal, selecting the institution as their first choice.

A screening exercise may be required of applicants, who will be notified of the date and venue as applicable.

Entry Requirements

Different programmes require different sets of qualifications for admission. Candidates must possess five credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level, WAEC, NECO, NTC, NABTEB, or its equivalent at no more than two sittings. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and any three subjects relevant to the area or discipline of choice. The Application Process

To apply for these programmes, follow the steps outlined below:

  2. Click on “Application to proceed”.
  3. Application Form costs Fourteen Thousand Naira (N14, 000.00) only. All applicants are required to pay an additional Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2, 500.00) only and Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) only as portal and bank charges, respectively.
  4. Make your e-payment either by generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceeding to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB, and Union Bank) to pay, or by using the Pay Direct option or an Interswitch enabled Verve or Master Card.
  5. Submit your application receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.
