The University of Nottingham is accepting applications for the PhD International Studentships for the academic year 2021-2022.

This studentship is for domestic and international students interested in pursuing a PhD degree program. The funding will cover a stipend and the full cost of the program in the United Kingdom.

The Institution of Nottingham is a well-known public research university that is currently rated 84th in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings 2018. It also contributes to people’s well-being by providing excellent education and research through its educational system.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries

All students from the United Kingdom and other countries are welcome to apply.

Applicants can also pursue a PhD degree in experimental boundary-layer transition by managing turbulent areas.

Applicants must also meet all the following/given requirements in order to be considered:

The applicant must be accepted into the three-year PhD program at the university.

Offered Benefits

The applicants will get a stipend of £15,000 per year and tuition fees at the UK rate by the University of Nottingham under the studentship.

Application Process for Nottingham Scholarship

Students must apply to the program online via the university’s website. To apply for the studentship, students must also send a copy of their covering letter, CV, and academic transcripts to [email protected], referencing the project title.

The students must present the following documents to the university:

4. Bachelor’s certificate

5. Master’s degree

To be admitted into a PhD program in the engineering department at Nottingham, applicants must have or expect to have a 2:1 or first-class BEng/MEng degree, or an MSc merit or distinction in an Engineering or Physical Sciences related area.

The applicants must attain minimum scores in the following English language proficiency tests:

IELTS – 6.0

PTE – 55
