In partnership with the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC), Nordson Corporation is offering scholarships in three categories as Career & Technical, University Scholars, and Creating Equity in Industry.
The award program is open to students planning to enroll or already enrolled in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution. It is designed to attract and develop a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Applications are open only applicants who live or attend a school near a Nordson facility
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded for any degree majors in manufacturing, engineering-related STEM disciplines, or business leading to a career in industry and corporate America.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- Individuals whose permanent residence or college is near a Nordson facility, and are pursuing majors in manufacturing, engineering-related STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) disciplines, or business leading to a career in industry and corporate America.
- Students who are planning to register or already joined in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution.
- Live near a Nordson facility or attend a school near a Nordson facility
- Maintain good academic standing
- Children/dependents of Nordson employees are also eligible to apply.
- Career and Technical Scholarships: students pursuing credit-based certificates or associate degrees at an accredited community college or trade school
- University Scholars Scholarships: students pursuing four-year degrees at accredited colleges or universities
- Creating Equity in Industry Scholarships: underrepresented students as part of our goal to promote gender and racial equity and develop a diverse manufacturing workforce

- Entry Requirements: Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible to receive a Nordson BUILDS Scholarship.
- Language Requirement: Applicants must be good in the English language (writing, speaking, and reading)
Benefits
- Nordson BUILDS will provide awards that range from $2,000 to $10,000 will be granted to winning students to students pursuing four-year degrees at accredited colleges or universities for their postsecondary education.
- Awards will base on the winner’s academic performance, leadership skills, character, community service, and school involvement, as well as the applicant’s career/college major fit.
