Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has commenced the sales of application forms for admission into its School of Continuing Education Part-time Degree Programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session. This initiative offers individuals the opportunity to advance their education while balancing work, family, and other commitments.

The sale of application forms began on the 20th of June, 2023 and will run till the 21st of August, 2023, giving interested applicants a window of two months to complete the application process.
Method of Application
All prospective candidates can purchase the application form for a sum of ₦4,000.00 (Four thousand Naira only) via the University’s Application Portal. The procedure is convenient, seamless, and can be done from any location.

Duration of the Programmes
Depending on the entry point, the duration of the programmes vary:
- Candidates admitted through UTME: Minimum of 12 and maximum of 18 Contacts (at 3 contacts per academic session)
- Candidates admitted through DE: Minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 Contacts (at 3 contacts per academic session)
Each Academic Session is scheduled to run for 18 Months.

Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates with the National Certificate of Education (NCE) with a minimum of nine (9) points, or Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit pass, or its equivalent in relevant certificates obtained from recognized institutions, qualify for Direct Entry into Level 200. All applications will be subjected to a selection process.
