For Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme:
- The applicant should be a regular student of Class XI and studying in any recognized school/college of Nepal.
- The applicant should be a citizen of Nepal.
- The family income of the candidate must be less than NRs. 2,00,000/- per annum.
- Applicant should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks at the High School.
For the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme:
- The applicant should be a regular student enrolled in 1stYear/1stSemester of undergraduate courses in any recognized educational institute in Nepal.
- Applicant should have secured at least 70% aggregate marks at the Intermediate (+2) level/Class 12th
- The applicant should be a citizen of Nepal.
- The family income of the applicant must be less than NRs.2,00,000/- per annum.
- Applicant should be between 17 to 22 years of age as on 1 st July 2020.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: For Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme: The documents should be submitted latest by November 2020 either physically at Education Wing of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu or Consulate General of India, Birgunjor via email: [email protected] ov.in.
- For Golden Jubilee Scholarship: The documents should be submitted latest by the second week of December 2020 either physically at Education Wing of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu or Consulate General of India, Birgunj or via email: [email protected], failing which the program may be terminated.
- Supporting Documents: For apply this grant students must have to submit a copy of class XI passed mark sheet along with present status, Physically challenged candidate should upload proof from CDO/LDO/Municipality Head, Class 10th and mark sheet to be uploaded, Proof of student studying in Class XI attested by Principal to be uploaded, income proof should be provided by CDO/LDO/Municipality Head and to be uploaded.
- For Golden Jubilee Scholarship: Applicants need to submit the proof of student studying in graduation/degree course attested by Principal/Head of Institution to be uploaded, Class 12th and mark sheet to be uploaded, Physically challenged candidate should upload proof from CDO/LDO/Municipality Head, income proof should be provided by CDO/LDO/Municipality Head and to be uploaded.

- For the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme:
- For MBBS/BDS Course: students will receive 4000 award amounts.
