The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially opened the application process for its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) foundation programme for the 2023/2024 academic session.
The LASU JUPEB programme is designed to prepare exceptional students for admission to the 200-level degree programmes at LASU and other JUPEB-affiliated universities.

Contents
The LASU JUPEB programme spans 12 months and is aimed at equipping students with the requisite skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields of study. The Foundation Programme Campus is located at ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry.
LASU JUPEB Admission Requirements
The LASU JUPEB admission requirements include:
- Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Passes in relevant subjects, including English Language. For candidates intending to study Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Agric Science, Science Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Engineering, a Credit Pass in Mathematics is compulsory.
- Successful candidates will be invited for a written qualifying examination.
- Successful candidates will also be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira only (N25,000.00).

LASU JUPEB: Criteria for Transiting to 200 Level
At the end of the intensive preparations, candidates will sit for the JUPEB Examinations. Only successful candidates would be able to transit to 200 Level AND courses shall be allocated based on the level of performance of each students. Also:
- Successful candidates that will be enrolled in the Degree Programmes at 200 Level must purchase the JAMB Direct Entry Form
- Students who fail may be allowed to repeat the Programme
- On admission, if any student voluntary withdraws from the programme, request for refund of School Fee will NOT be entertained.

Application Deadline and Examination Date
The deadline for submission of application forms is Friday, 15th September 2023.
The qualifying examination for admission into the Programme is slated for Saturday, 16th September 2023, by 8:00 am at the LASUBAS Foundation Programme Location, Topo Road, Badagry.
General Information
LASU offers hostel accommodation and transportation for students of the programme. However, allocation of available spaces will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
