GOUNI Post UTME Requirements 2026/2027
Candidates applying for undergraduate admission to Godfrey Okoye University must meet the basic requirements for their chosen programme.
1. Have the Required JAMB Score
Applicants must have the appropriate UTME score for the course they want to study.
For example, candidates seeking Medicine and Surgery need a minimum score of 200, while Nursing requires 180.
Most of the other listed programmes require a minimum score of 150.
2. Have Five O’Level Credits
Candidates are required to have at least five credit passes in the relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where required.
Results may be from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or another recognised examination.
However, candidates should carefully check the specific subject requirements for their chosen course because some programmes have additional requirements.
3. Choose GOUNI as First Choice
Candidates who did not initially choose Godfrey Okoye University as their first-choice institution must change institutions through JAMB and make GOUNI their first choice.
This matters because candidates should not assume that submitting an application to the university automatically changes their JAMB institution.
4. Obtain a JAMB Admission Letter
The university states that possession of the JAMB admission letter completes the admission process.
Candidates should therefore ensure that their admission is properly reflected through the appropriate JAMB process.
