The provisional list of successful candidates has been uploaded online and can be checked via the School Portal and JAMB CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System).

Prospective students can check their admission status by following the steps outlined below:

1. Go to the FUAM admission status checking portal @ http://entry.uam.edu.ng/checkadmission/.
2. Input your JAMB Registration in the required column
3. Click on “Check Status” to proceed to view your admission status.

Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

Candidates successfully admitted into the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JSTUM) first degree programmes are advised to:

• Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
• Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
• Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
• Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

Alternative Way to Check Admission Status via JAMB Portal

Alternatively, JSTUM prospective students can also access their admission status via the JAMB admission status checking portal by following these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down, then locate and click the “Check Admission Status” tab.
4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
5. Finally, click on “Check Admission Status” to access your JSTUM admission status or click on “Access my CAPS” to access CAPS for Admission status and other related services.
