Nekede Poly Supplementary Admission Form – Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) is now selling the supplementary forms for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) regular programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for supplementary admission Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) regular programmes of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Federal Polytechnic Nekede ND Supplementary Admission Details
Prospective students who scored 140 and above in 2021 UTME are hereby informed that vacancies exit into the National Diploma (ND) Regular Programmes in the following New Departments:
- ND Hydrology & Water Resources Management
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
The entry requirements for all National Diploma (ND) Programmes are as follows:
- Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
- Possession of Appropriate JAMB subjects Combination for the course applied for.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
- Visit Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri website https://fpno.edu.ng
- Click on apply for admissions
- Select your programme type
- Generate an Invoice for the application form
- Pay Invoice at the Bank or online with your ATM/Debit Card
Proceed to any bank of your choice and make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only using Remita Number (RRR). You can also choose to make your payment using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD. If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
- Proceed to fill out the Application form
- On completing the application form, print your acknowledgement slip.
- Click to pay for O’level verification.
- Print O’level Verification Certificate (To verify if the O’level verification is successful or not and to verify if there is any need for correction and re-verification).
- All application procedures MUST be concluded on or before 12.00 (midnight) of 10th April 2022.
- Applicants can start and complete this process from any location in the country. It is therefore advisable to minimize trips to Owerri for the purpose of completing the form.
NOTE: Candidates who chose our institution as 2nd or 3rd choice must change to Federal Polytechnic Nekede as their first choice before they will be considered for admission and also note that any wrong information given disqualifies the candidate.
Federal Polytechnic Nekede HND Supplementary Admission Details
Prospective students who are interested in the following courses are hereby informed that vacancies exit into the Higher National Diploma (Regular) Programmes in the following departments.
- Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering (Mining Engineering) Technology
- Agricultural and Bio- Environmental Engineering (post Harvest option)
- Agricultural Technology (Soil Science & Land Resources Management)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes are as follows:
- Candidates are required to possess National Diploma in their chosen programme from any recognized/accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.
- Candidates are also to possess at least five (5) relevant O’level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
- Candidates are required to have at least one year or two years post-National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.
For details on the entry requirements peculiar to each of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, candidates should visit the Polytechnic website www.fpno.edu.ng.
It is also important to NOTE that candidates with a Pass level in National Diploma from institutions other than Federal Polytechnic Nekede are not qualified to apply and any false data entry during the online registration will lead to disqualification of the candidates at any time such is discovered.

If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill in the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
- Proceed to fill out the Application form
- On completing the application form print your acknowledgement slip.
- Click to pay O’level verification.
