The Federal Polytechnic, Bida is pleased to inform the general populace, and especially those aspiring to advance their educational journey, about the commencement of the sale of admission forms. These forms are for our various Evening and Weekend National Diploma Programmes. All of these programmes are managed under the Directorate of Continuing Education (DCE).

Admission Eligibility: What You Need to Know
National Diploma (ND-II Special) Programmes
Candidates aspiring for ND-II Special Programmes should hold an ordinary diploma or its equivalent and obtain a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects, inclusive of English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
National Diploma (ND) Programmes
For standard National Diploma courses, candidates must have secured at least five (5) O’ Level credits in the relevant subjects, including English and Maths, across no more than two sittings.
Special Microfinance Management Courses
- Diploma in Microfinance Management: Minimum of a Merit in a certificate in Microfinance Management, or five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects.
- Certificate in Microfinance Management: At least four (4) O’ Level passes in relevant subjects are required.
Concessional Admission: Some candidates with fewer than five credits may be granted concessional admission. However, they must pass their O’ Level examinations before graduating.
Programme Duration
- National Diploma (ND-II Special) Weekend Programmes: These will span three semesters within a year.
- Microfinance Management Courses: Both Diploma and Certificate courses will be conducted over a year, with three and two semesters respectively.
- Weekend Classes: Lectures will be held on Fridays and Saturdays for weekend programmes.
How to Apply: Your Step-by-Step Guide
- Visit the official application portal https://fedpolybida.edu.ng/.
- Register as a new user with your personal email.
- Activate your account through the activation link sent to your email.
- Log in using your activated email and password.
- Select the application form for the 2023/2024 academic session.
- Click the “Proceed to Pay Online” button.
- Follow the Remita payment process.
- Take note of your transaction reference number.
- Choose your card type for payment.
- Confirm successful payment and proceed to fill out your application form.
- Print your application immediately upon submission.
Important: Your ability to print the application form depends on successful payment. Application forms cost Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00).
