Ekiti State University (EKSU) in Ado-Ekiti proudly announces its 27th Convocation Ceremony to celebrate the academic achievements of its students. This post will outline the schedule of events, important information for graduands, and requirements for collecting certificates during the convocation. EKSU Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events:

  • Monday, 17th April 2023
    • Vice Chancellor’s Press Conference Venue: New Senate Chamber
      Time: 12:00 noon
  • Tuesday, 18th April 2023
    • Convocation Lecture Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus Lecturer: Professor Labode Popoola, Former Vice Chancellor of Osun State University, Osogbo Topic: THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM IN NIGERIA AND THE SUSTAINABILITY QUESTION
      Time: 1:00 p.m.
    • Drama/An Evening with the Vice-Chancellor Venue: Senate Chamber, University Campus
      Time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 19th April 2023
    • Award of Sub-Degrees, First Degrees, and Presentation of Prizes/Distinctions Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus
      Time: 10:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, 20th April 2023
    • Award of Post Graduate Diplomas, Masters, and Doctorate Degrees Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus
      Time: 10:00 a.m.

General Information:

  • Graduands must confirm their names on www.eksu.edu.ng.
  • Academic robes can be obtained from Faculty Officers/Secretaries after paying the prescribed charges (excluding bank commission) beginning Tuesday, 11th April 2023.
  • The deadline for returning academic robes is Friday, 21st April 2023.
  • Failing to return the academic robe on time or in good condition will result in a penalty fee.
