Ehsaas Program, most people also called it as Ahsas or Ehsas is a program by Pakistan Government that released through Prime Minister’s Policy Statement. The aims of this program are to lower inequality, invest in people as well as boost lagging districts. This program has 4 aspects: addressing elite capture and making the government system work to create equality, safety nets for disadvantaged segments of the population, jobs and livelihoods as well as human capital development. Ehsaas Scholarship
The last aspect “human capital development” include giving undergraduate scholarships for Pakistan students who come from low-income families. The Ehsaas Scholarship is a grand design to expand education access to higher education level as the government hopes to make sure that there are no students are underpriviliged in getting education because financial problems.
Scholarship Value
A source said that there are 50,000 scholarships every year and 200,000 in four years that cover tuition fee as well as stipend.
Approximately 50% of scholarships will be targeted for women or female students, students with special treatments, students come from low-income families as well as students who come from far and disadvantages areas.
