Coventry Institution is a public research university in the English city of Coventry. It gained university status and was called Coventry University in 1993, as the Coventry Polytechnic Institute, in conformity with the Law on Higher Education and Higher Education of 1993.
Coventry is a promising modern institution with a long history and a high standard of education. In 2019, the Guardian University Handbook placed Coventry 13th in the UK, and the Complete Guide to the University ranked it as the UK’s newest university in 2018.

There are 4 awards of £2000 towards tuition fees available for the best and brightest undergraduate students from Nigeria.
Eligibility
The Nigeria High Achievers Scholarship is available to all Nigerian students applying for full-time undergraduate programmes who have applied for study before 30th November 2021. In addition, candidates will be selected based on their academic merit.
The Scholarships are allocated to applicants based on their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following;
- Academic qualifications (Pass HSSC with an overall score of 80%)
- Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Coventry
- Extra-curricular or work experience
