University of Reading, the UK in partnership with the Chevening, is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their Chevening Partnership Scholarship for postgraduate and masters programmes. Over the last 20 years, the University of Reading and Chevening have collaborated to provide international master’s students with financing to pursue their postgraduate teaching degrees at Reading. Nearly 500 Chevening scholars from all over the world have visited the University of Reading over the years.

Besides the standard Chevening Scholarships (which accept applications in any subject from all Chevening eligible countries), the University of Reading is pleased to offer several Chevening/Reading Partnership Scholarships, which we are co-funding with Chevening for those interested in studying specific programs at Reading.

The scholarship covers the entire tuition fee and includes a monthly living stipend and a travel allowance. The awards are open to students who are from Chevening eligible countries and are applying for the master’s/postgraduate taught degrees at Reading.

Scholarship Description

Chevening Partnership Scholarship Awards at University of Reading, UK 2021-22 is open for International Students. The scholarship allows for postgraduate, masters level programme (s) in All Subjects taught at the University of Reading.

What are Chevening Scholarships?

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations.

The scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential.

Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree at universities across the UK.

There are over 44,000 Chevening Alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly regarded global network.

Who can apply for a Chevening Scholarship?

Chevening Scholarships are for talented professionals who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields, including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion, and academia.

Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership.

Chevening Scholarships are available to students from over 160 countries and territories worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU).

Chevening Partnership Scholarship Awards at the University of Reading, UK 2021-2022 is available to undertake Postgraduate, Masters level programs at the University of Reading.

Scholarship Benefits

The eligible students will be given the full cost of the tuition fee, a monthly living allowance, and a travel allowance to support their study at the University of Reading.

Application Procedure

To apply for a Chevening/Reading Partnership Scholarship, an eligible applicant must:

  1. Submit an online scholarship application via the Chevening website.
  2. Apply for one of the eligible courses at the University of Reading using our online application form.

Chevening Partnership Scholarship Deadline

The deadline for the scholarship is 2nd November 2021.
