Brunel University, London is delighted to welcome applications for EPSRC funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) PhD studentships starting 1st October 2021 within the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences.
Also, this Scholarship is available for both domestic and international students who wish to take part in a full-time PhD program at the University.
Successful applicants will receive an annual stipend (bursary) of £17,609, plus payment of their full-time tuition fees for 36 months (3 years). Overseas applicants, including EU nationals, who meet the academic entry criteria, including English Language proficiency.
Eligibility Criteria for Brunel Scholarship
All interested applicants for Brunel University London EPSRC Funded DTP PhD Studentships are expected to meet the following eligibility criteria;
1. Applicants from both domestic and international students are eligible.
2. Applicants will have or expect to receive a first or upper-second class honors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Mathematics, Physics or a similar numerate discipline. A Postgraduate master’s degree is not required but may be an advantage.
3. Where appropriate, applicants must have English language proficiency to IELTS 6.5 overall (a minimum of 6.0 in all sections) or equivalent. If you do not hold this qualification already, you must show when you will achieve this qualification in your personal statement.
4. Likewise, you should be eligible for home (UK) tuition fees
5. Must be able to provide academic excellence.

7. Show excellent academic performance and notable achievements at the previous study level(s).
8. Show academic talent and powerful motivation in the chosen field of study.

The following are things required:
1. Your up-to-date CV;
2. Also, your document (300 to 500 words) sets out the ideas for your research project;
3. Likewise, personal statements (300 to 500 words) summarize your background, skills and experience;
5. Name of a potential academic supervisor in the College, if you have identified one;
6. Contact details for TWO referees, one of which can be an academic member of staff at the College
