COOU cordially invites all aspirants who selected the institution as their first choice in the 2023 United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). For those aiming for courses like Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, a minimum UTME score of 200 is a prerequisite. However, for other courses, a score of 150 will suffice.

A. The Fees:

Candidates are to remit a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00). Payment is made easy through the REMITA platform, accessible at any commercial bank.

B. Timelines:

Mark your calendars! The online registration begins on Tuesday, 1st August 2023. An advantage? The portal will stay open for a full week post the release of the 2023 NECO results.

C. Registration Steps:

  1. Start by navigating to COOU Portal.
  2. Select Prospective Students.
  3. Choose ‘Generate 2023/2024 PUTME Invoice‘.
  4. Punch in your JAMB Registration Number.
  5. Click on ‘Sign in to generate an invoice’.
  6. Make your payment at any bank or opt for the convenience of your ATM card.
  7. Head back to the portal.
  8. Enter your JAMB Registration Number again and click on ‘Apply Here’.
  9. Fill in your Date of Birth and any other necessary fields.
  10. For O’level results, remember to upload to JAMB CAPS using CBT centres. Note: Regular business centres won’t work.
  11. Get these documents uploaded (ensure file sizes are under 50KB):
  12. Review your input on the Summary Page. Ensure all is in order.
  13. Tick the CONFIRMATION BOX.
  14. Finally, hit the SUBMIT button.
  15. Don’t forget to print your Acknowledgement Slip. It’s your proof of completion.
