The University of Adelaide is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students. Scroll down to read in details.

Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship recognizes international students who are pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and have shown academic excellence during their studies.

Value of the scholarship

The scholarship offers a reduction of between 15% and 30% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard duration of the scholars’ chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.

Beginning an undergraduate qualification:

Year 12 overseas student with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 80 for a 15% scholarship.

Year 12 overseas student with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90 for a 30% scholarship.

Beginning a postgraduate qualification:

Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 5.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 15% scholarship.

Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 6.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 30% scholarship.

The scholarship has the following conditions:

1. Available for students beginning in the period between 2021-2025;

2. Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;

3. A minimum GPA score;

4. Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);

5. Available for study in any discipline (exceptions apply).

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

1. Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full or conditional) as a full-fee paying international student.

2. Applicants are required to have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree and have at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honours.

3. Applicants must have an outstanding academic result

4. Applicants must be citizens of a country (Excluding New Zealand & Australia}

5. Applicants must be able to show leadership skills and be good at research.

6. Applicants must be good in Oral and Written English

The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:

1. Internal transfers are current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another before successfully completing their program of study.

2. Students who have received a scholarship from a recognized scholarship awarding agency, such as a government ministry or department, that covers more than half of their tuition fees;

3. Applicants for Masters through Research or PhD programs.

4. Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.

Scholarship Closing Dates

Scholarships are available all year, however, students are advised to complete their admissions process as soon as possible to ensure that they have enough time to apply for a visa and prepare for their studies.
