Lagos State University (LASU) is commencing its online admissions clearance exercise for admitted candidates in the 2022/2023 academic session. This process will be conducted through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA). Successful candidates will be assigned matriculation numbers, while those who are unsuccessful will forfeit their provisional admissions. This post will guide you through the payment procedure and step-by-step approach to complete the LACACA operation.
Payment Procedure for LASU Online Clearance Fees:
- Visit the LASU e-payment portal at lasu.edu.ng/epayment
- Click “NAIRA PAYMENT”
- Select your admission type: “UNDERGRADUATE (FULL-TIME) NEWLY ADMITTED 2022/2023 SESSION” or “UNDEGRADUATE (STREAM 2) NEWLY ADMITTED 2022/2023 SESSION” for Stream 1 and Stream 2 respectively.
- Provide your JAMB Registration Number in the field labelled “Matric/Application/Unique/UTME Number”
- Choose “UNDERGRADUATE LACACA” from the drop-down menu labelled “Choose Payment”
- Select “NAIRA” from the drop-down menu labelled “Payment Currency”
- Click Continue
- Provide a valid email address and phone number
- Choose the payment amount
- Click Next
Step-by-Step Approach to Complete the LACACA Operation:
- Visit the LASU website at https://www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to the STUDENT Tab and click on UG LACACA
- Enter your UTME registration number and surname, then click Submit
- Complete the following tasks on the dashboard: a. Validate your basic bio-data details b. Verify your disability status c. Upload your O’Level scratch card details d. Upload your original birth certificate e. Upload your original UTME Results f. Upload your original JAMB Admission Letter g. Upload a scanned copy of your signature h. Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and clicking on Submit
- At this point, your Admission Clearance progress will be at 20% while the documents are reviewed by dedicated university officials
- Keep an eye on your Admission Clearance progress and address any issues that may arise based on your uploaded documents
- If there are any errors that require correction, you will need to pay for these corrections on the LASU payment portal at https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment
- Once you’ve reached 100% clearance progress, you can print your LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2022/2023 Academic Session and receive your Matriculation Number
The online clearance will begin on Friday, March 31, 2023, and the portal will close on Friday, April 14, 2023. Please note that this timeline is strict and extension may not apply. Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reason for rejection.
