EO16-O means your decoder has been disconnected and is a common message to every GOtv user who failed to pay for their subscription before it expires. The EO16-O error message may continue displaying on the screen after renewed the subscription, this is simply because your GOtv account is not activated after the successful payment and this is common among those who made the payment through online. Below are the three means that you can use for Clear EO16-O Error Message after making a successful payment.
First Means
» Send “RESET IUC NUMBER as a message to 4688″ for example RESET 2022361285 to 4688 (where 2022361285 is your IUC Number)
» NB: If you are using this method, i suggest you do it during the day (8a.m – 7p.m)
» The IUC NUMBER are those digits on the red label under the decoder
Second Means
» Visit http://ift.tt/1k75nLH Look for Clear Error Code at the Right hand side, » Enter your IUC Number, Select the GOTVE16, Enter the Code Display. And click on Clear Error.
» NB: Make sure your IUC is inserted and your decoder is powered ON.
Third Means
This will require calling of Customer Care. I can say i prefer this, because your decoder will be active immediately if you speak with an agent but it is costly due to the fact that they start charging you immediately it start ringing. You can call GOtv on 08039003788 or 08039044688 or 012703232
