MI College of Contemporary Music is providing the opportunity to apply for the D’Addario Women In Guitar Scholarship sponsored by D’Addario Music Foundation.

This Award is open for international and US female students who are currently enrolled AA, B.M. or M.M. (Guitar) program. Participants who will be applied to the Associate of Arts, Bachelors of Music and Master of Music in Performance (Guitar) Program, are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply

The mode of application is online.

  • How to Apply: To apply, the applicants must submit an online application for the award. Applicants are required to take admission at Musicians Institute (MI).
  • Supporting Documents: Video must contain at a minimum: three (3) diverse songs in any style(s) on your instrument. It is required that this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) solo piece. You may use electric and/or acoustic guitars.
  • Admission Requirements: Before you may submit a application, you must have a Letter of Acceptance from MI’s Admission Department.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must have English language proficiency (reading, speaking, and writing). International students are required to have proof of (certificate) English language proficiency.

Benefits: Winners of the program will receive $1,500 award to cover current or next contiguous quarter’s tuition.
