The University of New South Wales (UNSW) provides various scholarship opportunities to its students, which include scholarships for high school leavers, foundation studies students, first year students, second year students, third year students and above, honors year students, alumni as well as postgraduate students. The scholarships are available for degree and non-degree studies at UNSW. Below are some of the short-term scholarships and travel grants for short courses offered at UNSW.

International Mobility Grant (IMG)
Contents
The Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (International) provides $1,000 scholarships to selected UNSW students wishing to undertake global mobility programs. The purpose of the International Mobility Grant is to encourage UNSW students to participate in global mobility programs that fall outside the formal exchange program. These programs include intensive courses, summer / winter exchange courses, practicums (research placements), unpaid internships and conferences. All current UNSW students participating in overseas Winter programs (commencing May – October) or Summer programs (commencing November – February) are eligible to apply. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate full degree program at UNSW.

Harry Manson International Exchange Scholarship
The Harry Manson International Exchange Scholarship program has been established to encourage students to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program. Eligible students will automatically be considered for these scholarships based on their UNSW Exchange application. To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be or currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program; and
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program
The scholarship amounts at $6,000 for each student.

UNSW Student Exchange Achievement Award
This Award has been established to encourage students to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program. Applications to this scholarship are not required. You will be automatically assessed based on your application for exchange. To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be or currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program
- Be accepted by a UNSW Exchange Partner Institution
The scholarship amounts at $5,000 each and is available for 1 year.

UNSW Student Exchange Alliance Award
This Award has been established to encourage students to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program at either an APRU, Global Tech or U21 Partner institution. Applications to this scholarship are not required. You will be automatically assessed based on your application for exchange.
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be or currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program
- Be accepted by a UNSW Exchange Partner Institution, either at an APRU, Global Tech or U21 partner institution
The amount of each scholarship is $5,000.

UNSW Student Exchange Engineering Travel Grant
This Award has been established to encourage Engineering students to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program. UNSW students who apply for an exchange program will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Separate application is not required.
Eligible students are those who meet all of the following criteria:

- Be or currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program
- Be accepted by a UNSW Exchange Partner Institution
There are 5 scholarships available for 1 year. Each scholarship values at $2,000.

UNSW Exchange Equity Scholarships
The UNSW Exchange Equity Scholarships have been established to encourage students from low socio-economic backgrounds to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a UAC Undergraduate Equity Scholarship application.
By applying for the UNSW Exchange Equity Scholarships you may also be considered for the following scholarships:

- UNSW Students Exchange Equity scholarship: $12,000 pa for one year
- Alumni Study Abroad Foundation Scholarship: $5,000 pa for one year
- Faculty of Engineering Exchange Assistance Scholarship: $5,000 pa for one year. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in a UNSW undergraduate coursework degree program at the Faculty of Engineering (single / dual)
- Mitsui Matsushima Australia Japanese Studies Fund: $5,000 pa for one year. Applicants must have achieved a minimum credit average, be a student of an international exchange program to Japan, and be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
To be eligible, applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be or currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program
- Must demonstrate at least one educational disadvantage through an application to the Universities Admissions Center (UAC) Equity Scholarships Scheme.

Arts & Social Sciences Work Integrated Learning Travel Award
The purpose of this Award is to assist students with the costs of travel when undertaking an internationally-based internship or industry placement in Southeast Asia as part of the Work Integrated Learning Program at the UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be currently enrolled in a UNSW undergraduate / postgraduate coursework degree program with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
- Be undertaking the Work Integrated Learning Program at the UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
There are 10 scholarships available under this scheme, with each of them valuing at $5,000 and available for one year.
