Portland State University is a public research university in the urban heart of the city. Readying students for challenges in the field, the institution’s School of Social Work is the best in the state. Online presence
Remote learners can complete curriculum and cohort modeled coursework within three years. Choose between Practice and Leadership with Communities and Organizations or the Health Across the Lifespan concentrations. At the beginning of each year, students must attend to two-days of community building and orientation. Courses teach:

- Policy practice

Notes
The experienced faculty is in direct contact with students throughout the week, including periodical face-to-face meetings. The program uses Blackboard, Google Hangouts, and YouTube to facilitate studies.
