Paul University, Awka, extends an invitation to suitably qualified candidates seeking to further their academic pursuits. The University is currently accepting applications for full-time, part-time, and online admissions into its diverse postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. The programmes culminate in the award of Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees across various disciplines in the Faculties, Institutes, and Centers of the university.

Paul University offers a broad range of postgraduate programmes, encompassing the arts, social sciences, and sciences. The following programmes are currently accepting applications:

  • PGD, M.A, Ph.D. in English Language, English Literature, History & International Relations, Religious Studies, Mass Communication, Management and Entrepreneurial Studies, Public Administration, Sociology, and Library & Information Science.
  • PGD, M.Sc, Ph.D. in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology, Pure & Industrial Chemistry, Pure & Industrial Physics, Pure Mathematics, and Management Information Science.

Duration of Paul University Postgraduate Programmes

The duration of the postgraduate programmes at Paul University varies depending on whether the student is enrolled full-time or part-time.

  • Full-Time: Ph.D. programmes last a minimum of six semesters, M.Sc. and MBA programmes last a minimum of three and four semesters respectively, and PGD programmes last a minimum of two semesters.
  • Part-Time: Ph.D. programmes last a minimum of eight semesters, M.Sc. and MBA programmes last a minimum of four and five semesters respectively, and PGD programmes last a minimum of three semesters.

How to Apply for Paul University Postgraduate Admission Form

To apply for any of the postgraduate programmes, visit the Paul University Postgraduate Application Portal at https://cpgs.pauluniversity.edu.ng.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of N10,000 by direct bank deposit to the following account:

  • Bank: FCMB
  • Account No: 1351347016
  • Account Name: Paul University

Upon payment, candidates should proceed to the Application Portal with the deposit teller to fill out the Application Form.

Admission Acceptance

Once a candidate receives an admission offer, they can then proceed to pay the tuition fee, which totals N100,000 and can be paid in two instalments. Candidates should then complete the Admission Acceptance Form on the Portal using the tuition fee deposit teller.

Upon completing the Admission Acceptance form, candidates will receive their Registration Number and other essential details.
