About African ChangeMakers Fellowship

The African ChangeMakers Fellowship Program (#ACFellowship) chooses outstanding African visionaries between the ages of 25 and 40 to train and equip them to positively affect their communities in Africa and beyond. We make it workable for these devoted changemakers to impact businesses, the tech space, and their communities’ social challenges.

Through training, mentorship, collaboration, and a connected network of changemakers, the African ChangeMakers continue to strengthen African future leadership and entrepreneurship talents.

We will learn a great deal from you, and you will learn a great deal from us. Selected applicants are engaged in a FREE intense 5-week online training course to share, cooperate, and learn everything about civic engagement, entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, social enterprise, and mentorship.

Program Eligibility

1. 25-40 years old

2. A citizen from any of the 54 African countries.

3. Training is in the English Language–can read and speak in English.

4. Have access to the internet, computer, laptop or mobile device to connect to the online programs.

5. Able to commit a full 5 hours a week to the program.

6. Passionate about using their skills to make a positive impact in their community and businesses.

7. Interested in leadership and social enterprise for Africa’s sustainable development.

8. Can show leadership and collaborative skills with people.

9. Can show initiative, self-direction, and a “can-do” attitude

Selected Applicants Notification: December 18, 2021

Online (Virtual) Training: African Changemakers Fellowship Program Duration: January 15–February 5, 2022.

In-person (Physical) Training: (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon & South Africa)–February, March, April, May 2022.
