AAUW International Fellowships in USA for Women
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowships in USA for Women is a scholarship offered by the the AUUW and has been around in the year 1917. This scholarship if offered to women from non-United State countries who would like to pursue a full-time PhD study in America.
This scholarship caters to all types of programs that are provided the any accredited United States institution or the candidates’ choice, so long as that program is either a graduate or postgraduate studies program provided by the institution.
Criteria: future candidates who are interested in applying for this scholarship must hold a nationality in another country that is not the United States, must have at least a Masters Degree if the candidate is planning to pursue of PhD degree, willing to commit herself to a full-time research and study plan during her academic year, has plans to go back to her home country after her study is done and plans to have a career, and must prove fluency in both written and spoken English trough TOEFL or IELTS tests.
Benefits: successful candidates of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowships in USA for Women will receive a grant of $30,000 for the entire course of her studies.

Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme
The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme is a scholarship offered by the Aga Khan Foundation. This scholarship is offered to international students from a few selected developing countries, such as Bangladesh, India, Pakista, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, and Mozambique.
This scholarship mainly prioritized for scholars who are planning to pursue their Masters degree. However, a few selected PhD candidates will be considered as well. With this scholarship, candidates are allowed to pursue any fields of study of their choice. While this scholarship is not originally American-based, it is a scholarship that will cater to any American institution.
Criteria: future candidates who are interested in applying for this scholarship must have an astounding academic track record (a consistent high GPA, research publications, etc.), in need of financial assistance, must apply to a reputable host institution with a high accreditation, and choose a university course that has many relevance to the foundation’s vision and mission.
Benefits: successful candidates of the Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme will receive financial assistance from the foundation in the form of all-expenses paid tuition fees and covered living costs throughout the course of the candidates’ studies. However, financial assistance for this scholarship will only last for two years. The American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellowship is a scholarship that is offered by the Scandinavian based American-Scandinavian Foundation. This scholarship if offered to mainly international students of Scandinavian nationalities. However, if you are a candidate from Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden are also eligible to partake in this scholarship.
This scholarship caters to future scholars who are willing to take up a PhD degree in the United States. Scholars are free to pursue a PhD degree in any field of study in any American host institution of their own choice, so long as that institution is established and highly accredited.
Criteria: future candidates who are interested in applying for this scholarship must provide their previous degree transcripts, must prove their citizenship from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, or Iceland, must prove their fluency in both spoken and written English, must provide a resumed of their past academic and social activities, obtain letters of recommendations, and submit in a biographical essay.
Benefits: while the number and amount of grants differ for scholars depending on their originating countries, the American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellowship will provide a funding estimated at a total of $500,000 to all successful candidates.
